A hot cop who rescues the girl? Oh yes! Heās also her brotherās friend. Oops.
Sometimes love happens in a crashāor at least thatās how Risa and Darren met.
Risa Holden often feels like her life is spinning beyond her control. On the heels of betrayal, sheās more committed than ever to making sure she doesnāt hope for too much, especially not anything like love.
When Darren Thomas, a smoldering and oh-so-hot cop, helps her after a car accident, she thinks a fling is in order.Ā JustĀ a fling.
Darren Thomas looks dangerously delicious in his uniform. When he meets Risa, the spark between them burns so hot and fast, he canāt think straight. After facing a tragedy, he retreated home to Alaska with plans to keep to himself.
Risa tests his convictions on every level. Sheās sassy temptation wrapped in trouble and his friendās little sister. Not exactly a smart move on his part to get tangled up in her.
Risa and Darren tumble fastālove might be the only thing can break their fall.
Darren & Risaās story is perfect for readers who love small town romance, hot heroes, smart & sassy heroines, small town police officers, opposites attract, slow burn, emotional romance with a dash of angst, plenty of swoon, and a broody hero.
